LP1020P Fully Refined Powder – Lowest Viscosity

LP1020P is our Lowest Viscosity (10-20 cps) ''Standard'' Fully Refined HDPE derived wax offered in the form of white powder.

Applications and Benefits include:-

  • Hot Melt Adhesive - Customers opt for this grade for the Lowest Viscosity requirement. Other options in our range include LP1040P/LP1040T (Pastilles) /LP1024P (Super clean and Harder)/LP1022P (economical but wider Viscosity range).  This grade will help Reduce Viscosity to promote wettability/Adjust Open and Set time/Enhance heat resistance.

LP1024P Super Refined Powder Grade

LP1024P is a ''Super Refined''  PE wax derived from an HDPE process in the form of white powder. Consequently it is an extremely clean, Low Viscosity (10-40 cps) pretty hard (Penetration Index <1) Wax that has found admirers in the Hot Melt Adhesive Industry.   

Key Benefits recognised in the Hot Melt Adhesive Application include:-

  • Very Low Volatiles due to the Double Refining Process
  • Low Viscosity which promotes wettability
  • Adjust Open and Set time
  • Enhanced heat resistance - Best in Class Thermal Resistant grade with higher dropping point and hardness than other PE Waxes
 
  • Partial replacement of FT wax (e.g. m-PO base HMA for Packaging applications) for overall cost reduction.

This grade is also used in the Paints/ Coatings/Inks Industry in its Micronised form (Please ask for details)

LP1022P Fully Refined Powder (Wide Viscosity)

LP1022P is a Wide Viscosity (<=60cps) Fully Refined HDPE derived wax offered in the form of white powder. As the Viscosity is not so controlled it is more economical than other Fully Refined Grades.

Applications and Benefits include:-

  • Hot Melt Adhesive - Customers opt for this grade if their process will allow a Wax with a Wider -  less controlled Viscosity Band.

WD2110P Powder

WD2110P - Highest Viscosity (1100 cps) and Mol Weight (2975 Mn) of any of our Virgin thermally cracked LDPE wax grades

Properties and Applications include:

  • Colour and Black Masterbatch - Dispersion Aid - Can be added to Masterbatch's to aid pigment dispersion and improve compatibility of Pigments and Fillers. The high Viscosity and Mol Wt will help aid dispersion on highly loaded products. Excellent pigment wettability.

Oil Black F-7L

Very Low Anilene/Chlorine grade

This particular grade of Nigrosine has a lower Aniline content and Chlorine content compared to CAE (our Standard Grade).  Can be used in the Masterbatch industry with Nylon for compounding, Extrusion and Injection moulding glass fibre filled compounds.  End uses include (but not limited to) discerning Automotive companies who need a Top Quality Dye for refined applications.

Spirit Black CAE

Spirit Black CAE is the flagship SB7 grade from our range (Very Good Heat Stability at High Temperatures)  

Very high quality and used extensively in the Masterbatch industry with Nylon (PA6)  for Compounding, Extrusion and Injection moulding glass fibre filled compounds.

Black F-5C

Black F-5C is a Mixed Dye with Carbon Black and Anthraquinone.  It was developed to obtain a Piano Black Colour with a competitive price

Relatively new grade for applications including - Masterbatch industry with Nylon (PA6) for Compounding, Extrusion and Injection moulding glass fibre filled compounds.  Gives improved Heat and Light resistance and Excellent Jet-Black properties. Also used with ABS / AS and PC to give a 'Complementary Colour'. We also have BLACK  F-5D which is without Carbon Black - this is for customers who need a Darker Black Colour.
